| Obverse description | To the left, the INS Dakar submarine emblem in relief — a shield bearing an anchor, submarine, and dolphin — and to the right the Dolphin Flotilla emblem within a circular badge. In the central field, the vessel's Hebrew and English designations appear in bold legend alongside a Hebrew biblical verse. Along the lower border, the dates of the sinking (25.1.68) and the discovery of the wreck (28.5.99) are inscribed in both Hebrew and Latin scripts, while the English legend 'IN TRANQUILITY IS YOUR VALOR' curves along the upper border. |
