Obverse description The obverse depicts an array of iconic American symbols in high relief, dominated by the Statue of Liberty at center-right, set against a skyline of skyscrapers including the Twin Towers. To the left, additional symbols are arranged in the field: a nuclear atom, a rocket, an airplane, a Coca-Cola bottle, Edison's light bulb, and a suspension bridge at lower right. The dates "1492" and "1992" appear prominently to the upper right, below which the legend "THE NEW WORLD" is inscribed in both Hebrew and English.
