Reverse description Printed in olive-brown intaglio, the reverse is dominated by an ornate central vignette of a weir or dam with a figure in the foreground and dense tree cover to the left, enclosed within an elaborate scrollwork and guilloche border. The word 'HALF' appears in bold letterpress within decorative panels at the left and right margins. Intricate lathe-work fills the remaining space, forming symmetrical leaf-shaped rosette panels flanking the central scene.
