Obverse description Two standing soldiers in uniform flank a central crowned flagpole from which a Union Jack flies, with artillery pieces and military equipment visible in the relief background. The dates 1899 and 1900 appear to either side of the crown atop the flagpole. The circular legend is arranged around the upper and lower rim of the field.
