Obverse description Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Honorius facing right, shown in three-quarter view with elaborate pearl diadem adorned with pendilia. The emperor wears a richly decorated paludamentum fastened at the shoulder, with visible pteryges at the upper arm. The effigy is rendered in the refined late antique court style characteristic of Ravennate solidi. The encircling Latin legend reads D N HONORI-VS P F AVG, distributed around the bust within a beaded border.
