Reverse description A majestic personification of Constantinopolis is seated facing on a backless throne, her head turned to the right in a commanding profile. She holds a long scepter in her right hand as an emblem of authority, while her left hand supports a Victory standing atop a globe, symbolizing the triumph of the empire. Her right foot rests upon the prow of a ship, a reference to naval dominance and the city's maritime heritage. The reverse legend CONCORDI-A AVGGG encircles the composition, invoking imperial harmony among co-rulers, with the officina letter Γ and the mint mark CONOB appearing in the exergue, the latter confirming production at Constantinople in refined gold.
