| Reverse description | The enthroned personification of Constantinopolis occupies the reverse field, depicted helmeted and draped in a frontal pose with her head turned to the right. She holds a long sceptre in her right hand and a Victory standing on a globe in her left, while her right foot rests upon the prow of a ship, symbolising naval dominion. The reverse legend CONCORDI-A AVGG celebrates the concordia between the two Augusti, with the officina letter H appearing in the field and the mint control mark CONOB placed in the exergue, denoting gold of the highest fineness struck at Constantinople. |
