| Obverse description | Right-facing bust of Constantius II depicted as a young emperor, pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed, rendered in high relief with finely articulated musculature on the paludamentum and scale-pattern cuirass. The pearl diadem, with prominent central element, encircles the imperial coiffure of short, layered locks. The portrait conveys the idealized, slightly elongated facial style characteristic of Constantinian-era gold coinage. The encircling Latin legend reads CONSTANTI-VS AVGVSTVS, distributed across the obverse field. |
