| Obverse description | Right-facing bust of Emperor Constantius II rendered in a formal imperial portrait style, laureate and rosette-diademed, with the effigy draped and cuirassed. The diadem is decorated with rosettes, reflecting the evolving court ceremonial aesthetic of the Constantinian dynasty. The bust is boldly modeled in high relief, consistent with the refined die-cutting of the Nicomedia mint. The obverse legend encircles the bust in Latin capitals. |
