Reverse description A winged, draped Victory strides hastily to the left, carrying in her raised right hand a wreath inscribed with the jubilee numeral XXV, commemorating the vicennalia or tricennalia celebrations, while her left hand bears a trophy and palm branch, symbols of Roman military triumph. At her feet, a seated captive wearing a Phrygian cap raises both hands in supplication, symbolising the subjugation of barbarian enemies. The composition conveys imperial dominance and divine favour. The reverse legend VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM flanks the central scene, with the mintmark SMAN and officina letter appearing in the exergue, identifying this issue to the Antioch mint.
