Obverse description Diademed bust of Constantius II facing right, wearing a pearl diadem composed of multiple rows of pearls, with finely rendered hair swept back in ridged waves. The emperor is depicted with a draped paludamentum visible at the truncation. The obverse legend D N CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG (Dominus Noster Constantius Pius Felix Augustus) runs along the periphery, framed by a raised border. The portrait displays the characteristic late Roman imperial style, with an idealised yet individualised physiognomy, reflecting the refined craftsmanship of the Nicomedia mint.

Reverse description Two enthroned personifications face one another in a formal, symmetrical composition: Roma, helmeted and draped, seated facing front at left, holding a spear in her left hand; and Constantinopolis, draped and helmeted, seated facing left with her right foot resting on a ship's prow, holding a sceptre in her left hand. Together they support a wreath inscribed VOT/XXXX above, symbolising the emperor's votive celebrations. The reverse legend GLORIA - REI - PVBLICAE (Glory of the State) runs along the upper field, while the officina letter and mint mark SMNS appear in the exergue, identifying the Nicomedia mint, sixth officina.
