Obverse description Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing right, wearing an elaborate pearl and rosette diadem with pendilia visible behind the ear. The effigy displays finely engraved hair combed back in layered strands, with the emperor's youthful features rendered in high relief characteristic of early Constantinian workshop production. The paludamentum is fastened at the right shoulder with a fibula. The circumferential legend reads CONSTANTI-VS MAX AVG in bold, well-spaced Latin capitals within a beaded border.
