| Reverse description | A winged, draped Victory is depicted seated right upon a cuirass and a shield, in the act of inscribing a votive legend upon a second shield that is supported by a standing Genius. The composition conveys imperial triumph and divine sanction, with Victory's wings fully spread behind her. The votive inscription VOT XXX within the legend commemorates the thirtieth anniversary of Constantine's reign. The mint mark, identifying the Nicomedia workshop, appears in the exergue below the figurative scene. |
