| Obverse description | Right-facing draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Arcadius, adorned with a pearl diadem featuring distinctive rows of pearls and pendant drops at the temple. The effigy displays the characteristic late antique imperial portrait style, with carefully rendered paludamentum fastened at the shoulder by a jewelled fibula.
