Obverse description Schematic bare bust of the bishop facing right, holding a crosier to the right, the staff intersecting the encircling legend below. The effigy is rendered in a crude, stylised manner characteristic of early 12th-century French episcopal coinage. The legend is interrupted by the crosier shaft and runs along the coin's periphery.
