Obverse description Central crowned royal cypher of Charles XIV Johan, composed of interlaced initials, flanked by the three crowns of Sweden positioned at the sides and below the monogram. The king's motto appears as a continuous legend along the rim of the coin, rendered in Latin script. The overall design is executed in low relief with a plain inner field surrounding the crowned cypher.
