| Reverse description | At the centre of the reverse, a plain cross with splayed ends is set within a quadrilobe (quatrefoil) ornamental frame, with small trefoil or fleur-de-lis decorations at the four inner angles. This central motif is enclosed by a beaded inner circle, beyond which the uncial Latin legend runs around the periphery of the coin. The design reflects the standard ecclesiastical and feudal iconography common to late medieval Savoyard and Burgundian regional coinage. |
