Reverse description A long voided cross divides the field into four quarters, with a small pellet at the centre and triple crescent or forked ends on each arm, closely imitating the reverse type of Sitric Silkbeard's original pennies. The dates 988 and 1988 are placed in two of the quarters, with the word DUBLIN in the remaining quarters, all within a beaded border.
