| Obverse description | Irregular flan displaying a bold cross motif dividing the field into four quadrants, executed in the characteristic Celtic hammered style. The cross, formed by two intersecting raised lines, dominates the entire obverse surface. The die work is deliberately geometric, consistent with the abstract coinage traditions of the Atrebates and Regini. The surface shows typical wear and patination associated with Iron Age silver coinage. The legend TINC, referencing the issuing ruler Tincomarus, appears partially on this face. |
