Reverse description A stylised three-tailed horse passant left, rendered in the schematic Celtic artistic tradition with elongated, angular limbs and a distinctive fanned tail. A whirligig or rotary solar symbol appears in the upper field above the horse. Multiple annulets and ring pellets are scattered throughout the field, filling the spaces around the horse in a decorative arrangement typical of southern British Iron Age coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly concave, as is characteristic of hammered silver units of this series.
