| Obverse description | Central double-crescent emblem rendered in the distinctive Celtic abstracted style, set upon a vertical wreath composed of stylised leaf or bead motifs. The crescents are positioned back-to-back, forming a symmetrical decorative device characteristic of Icenian silver coinage. The surrounding wreath border frames the design field, with pellet or lentoid ornaments filling the spaces between the foliage elements. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, consistent with hand-struck Celtic production of this period. |

| Reverse description | A stylised horse depicted in profile facing right, rendered in the characteristic Icenian abstract manner with a solid, compact head. Beneath the horse's head appears an S-shaped motif, and three leaf or lozenge ornaments decorate the shoulder area. A pellet sun symbol is positioned above the horse in the upper field. The tribal inscription ECE appears in the lower exergual area, referencing the issuing authority ECEN, an early form of the Icenian tribal name, in Latin characters. |
