Obverse description Stylised Celtic head facing left, rendered in the characteristically abstract La Tène artistic tradition. The effigy displays a prominent, jutting chin, sharply pointed nose, and a large, boldly rendered ear. Multiple hanks of corded or rope-like hair flow behind the head, executed as a series of parallel striated lines. The design occupies the full flan in a manner typical of Icenic silver unit coinage.

Reverse description A stylised horse advances to the right, rendered in the schematic Celtic tradition characteristic of Icenic coinage. Immediately above the horse, a prominent five-pointed star with a central pellet within a ring serves as the type's defining symbol and eponymous device. Above the star, a pellet boss flanked by two radiating arms is visible in the upper field. Below the horse, two pellets enclosed within a ring occupy the lower field. The composition is typical of the late Icenic silver unit series.
