Reverse description A stylised horse prancing to the right occupies the central field, depicted in the highly abstracted Celtic manner typical of Icenian coinage. The animal is rendered with an arched neck, elongated body, and schematised limbs. Above the horse's back appears a solar wheel or rosette symbol, and additional pellets and decorative motifs are distributed across the field. Curved lines and pellets below the horse suggest a ground line or further ornamental devices. The reverse is entirely ananepigraphic. The composition is characteristic of the broader Norfolk Wolf or Dead Head series attributed to the Iceni of eastern Britain.
