Obverse description Winged bust facing right, rendered in a stylised Late Celtic manner with flowing hair indicated by incised linear strokes and a prominent wing extending behind the head. The facial features are boldly modelled with a pronounced nose and defined chin. The abbreviated legend CVNO appears in the right field before the bust, referencing the issuing king Cunobelin. The flan is irregular and slightly concave, characteristic of hammered British Celtic silver units of this period.
