Obverse description Abstract rosette device occupying the central field, rendered in a schematic, punched style characteristic of early northwestern Indian coinage. The design bears a loose formal resemblance to floral or stellar temple motifs known from later Southeast Asian traditions. A crescent symbol appears above the central device. The overall composition is set within a plain, slightly irregular flan typical of hand-struck issues of this period and region.
