Obverse description Stylised male head facing right in the characteristic Iceni Celtic artistic tradition, rendered in bold, abstracted relief. The face is distinguished by a prominent drooping moustache, depicted as two elongated curved elements hanging below the nose — the defining feature of the Norfolk God Moustache type. The hair is elaborately rendered as a series of raised, comma-shaped pellets and scrolling locks radiating outward from the crown, with a prominent wreath-like border of overlapping leaf or flame motifs encircling the periphery. The flan is irregular and shows typical characteristics of a contemporary counterfeit, with the underlying bronze core visible through areas of silver plating loss, accompanied by patchy green and orange corrosion.
