Obverse description Central field dominated by a four-armed spiral motif, each arm terminating in a stylised snake head rendered in the La Tène curvilinear tradition. A pellet-in-ring device occupies the centre of the composition. Each of the four angles between the spiral arms contains a bucranium (ox-skull) ornament, arranged symmetrically around the central design.

A pentagram is positioned below the horse in the lower field. A pellet-in-ring device appears behind the horse, with an additional single pellet placed beneath the neck, serving as subsidiary ornamental elements typical of Eastern North Thames coinage.
