Reverse description Central device consisting of a crowned heraldic shield of the arms of Lorraine — quarterly, bearing the characteristic bend charged with alerions — set upon an ornate cartouche flanked by two large palm or laurel branches sweeping outward symmetrically from the base. The crown above the shield is an open ducal crown surmounted by a cross. The circumferential Latin legend IN * TE * DOMINE * SPERAVI * 1710 runs around the periphery, with the date 1710 placed to the left and the motto continuing to the right, all within a milled border.
