| Obverse description | Central field displays the crowned shield of Hagenau city arms set within an ornate baroque cartouche, flanked on either side by the divided date. The denomination value LX and the abbreviation K (for Kreuzer) appear above the shield. A continuous circular legend surrounds the design, separated from the inner field by a beaded border. The overall composition reflects the civic pride and administrative character typical of Imperial Free City coinage of the late seventeenth century. |
