Reverse description Central field dominated by a trident (trishula), the principal Shaivite symbol, with a long central prong flanked by two curved outer tines, set upon a short handle. The trishula is surrounded on all sides by a continuous Brahmi legend filling the field in a circular arrangement, the cursive characters rendered in high relief in the Indo-Sasanian manner. The periphery of the flan shows an irregular hammered edge consistent with hand-struck production.
