| Obverse description | Head of Turms (the Etruscan Mercury) facing left, wearing a winged petasos rendered in fine relief, the wings extending prominently above the brim of the hat. The facial features are modeled in archaic Etruscan style with a rounded profile and stylized eye. The numeral 'V' denoting the value of 5 asses appears in the field behind the head. The design is set within an irregular flan typical of hammered Etruscan coinage of this period. |
