Obverse description Facing head of Hercle (Heracles) rendered in archaic Etruscan style, depicted full-face with strongly modeled features, framed by the scalp of the Nemean lion whose open jaws rest atop his head and whose paws are knotted beneath his chin. The flan is irregular and the relief is bold. The value mark XX appears below the portrait in the lower field, denoting the denomination of 20 Asses.
