Reverse description Reverse is entirely blank, confirming the uniface nature of this issue. The surface shows irregular striations and flow lines resulting from the striking process, with the incuse impression of the anvil die faintly visible. This uniface fabric is a well-documented characteristic of the lightweight silver fractional coinage of Populonia, where only the obverse die was engraved.
