Obverse description Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Honorius facing right, rendered in the late antique imperial style typical of the Mediolanum mint. The emperor's effigy displays a pearl diadem and paludamentum fastened at the shoulder, with armored shoulder detail visible beneath the drapery. The surrounding Latin legend reads D N HONORI-VS P F AVG, distributed around the circumference within a beaded border. The die work reflects the competent but somewhat stylized engraving characteristic of late fourth-century Western imperial siliquae.
