| Obverse description | Right-facing bust of Emperor Constantius II, adorned with a pearl diadem, draped in imperial paludamentum and cuirassed, rendered in a refined late Roman style. The emperor's effigy is depicted with carefully detailed hair beneath the diadem, curling at the nape, and a fibula fastening the cloak at the right shoulder. The surrounding field carries the imperial titulature legend reading D N CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG, distributed around the bust. The portrait conveys the characteristic elongated, idealized physiognomy of Constantinian-era imperial coinage. |
