Obverse description Bust of Herakles facing left, his head enveloped in the scalp of the Nemean lion, the beast's open jaws framing the hero's brow and the knotted paws draped across the neck. The modelling is bold and three-dimensional, consistent with the Punic-Hellenistic artistic tradition, with pronounced facial features and curling hair visible beneath the lion-skin headdress. The field is plain, without legend or border inscription.
