| Reverse description | Hammered silver reverse bearing the mint name and regnal year in Persian Nasta'liq script, arranged in two principal registers divided by a horizontal line. The upper portion contains the mint epithet 'Dar al-Saltana Isfahan' (Seat of the Kingdom, Isfahan), while the lower register bears the AH date 1167 (1754 CE). The lettering is boldly engraved with characteristic Zand-period calligraphic style, and the irregular flan edge is typical of hand-struck Iranian provincial coinage of this period. |
