Reverse description Hammered reverse displaying a centrally placed circular cartouche containing the mint name in bold Naskh Arabic script. The legend 'Zarb Isfahan' (struck at Isfahan) is arranged within the cartouche, with decorative foliate and vegetal ornaments filling the surrounding field. The flan is irregular in shape, typical of hand-struck Safavid small denomination silver coinage. The flat, lightly detailed field outside the cartouche shows the characteristic smooth surface of a late hammered issue. The execution is consistent with Type B classification as catalogued under KM#507.1.
