Obverse description Bare male head facing right, rendered in a stylized Iberian manner combining indigenous and Hellenistic artistic influences. The hair is depicted in tight, rounded locks, and the neck is draped with a mantle fastened by a spool-shaped fibula at the shoulder. The portrait occupies the central field of the flan with no surrounding legend. The overall style reflects the local Iberian die-cutting tradition characteristic of the Ilerda mint.
