The figure is rendered in dynamic stride, conveying martial vigor characteristic of Flavian imperial iconography. The senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is placed prominently in the field, S to the left and C to the right of the figure. A beaded border surrounds the composition, and the field is otherwise unadorned.
