| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Vespasian facing right, rendered in bold high relief characteristic of early Flavian imperial portraiture. The effigy displays the emperor's distinctive physiognomy — broad forehead, strong jaw, and close-cropped curls — with a laurel wreath encircling the head. The paludamentum is visible at the shoulder, secured with a fibula. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise around the perimeter of the field, separated from the bust by a beaded border. |
