Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder, rendered in the naturalistic Roman Imperial portrait style. The emperor's strong facial features — including a prominent brow, defined nose, and short-cropped hair beneath the laurel wreath — are characteristic of Trajanic portraiture. The legend encircles the bust along the coin's periphery. The overall relief is bold and confident, typical of the Rome mint under Trajan's reign.

Obverse lettering IMP CAES NERVA TRAIAN AVG GERM P M
(Translation: Imperator Caesar Nerva Traianus Augustus, Germanicus, Pontifex Maximus. Supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, Nerva Trajan, emperor (Augustus), conqueror of the Germans, high priest.)
Reverse description The personification of Pax (Peace) seated left on a throne, draped in flowing robes, extending an olive branch in her right hand and holding a long transverse sceptre in her left. The figure is rendered with careful drapery work characteristic of the Roman Imperial allegorical tradition. The legend is distributed around the periphery, with the senatorial mark S C (Senatus Consultum) prominently placed in the lower field to either side of the exergue, denoting senatorial authorization for the bronze coinage.
