| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with drapery over the left shoulder, rendered in high relief in the vigorous style characteristic of Trajanic imperial coinage. The emperor's strongly modelled features — prominent brow, aquiline nose, and firm jaw — convey imperial authority and martial dignity. The circular legend surrounds the bust, distributed across the full field close to the coin's beaded border. The portrait follows the canonical Trajanic type with paludamentum fastened at the left shoulder, consistent with the heroic military presentation favoured during this reign. |
