Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, depicted with short hair and slight drapery at the shoulder, rendered in bold high relief characteristic of Trajanic portraiture. The effigy conveys imperial authority with a strong, idealized profile. The encircling legend reads IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait style reflects the vigorous, classical Roman aesthetic of the early second century AD. The surface displays a rich green patina consistent with long burial.

Reverse description The reverse presents a standing female figure personifying Dacia, depicted in a mournful or submissive posture, accompanied by a trophy of arms — a tall tropaeum hung with captured Dacian weapons and armor — symbolizing Roman victory in the Dacian Wars. The composition alludes directly to Trajan's conquest of Dacia (101–102 and 105–106 AD). The legend S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI is disposed around the field, with the senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) prominently placed in the lower field. The reverse type belongs to a celebrated series of Trajanic bronzes commemorating Rome's greatest territorial expansion. The coin exhibits heavy green patination with moderate surface wear consistent with extended circulation.
