| Obverse description | Laureate draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder truncation. The emperor's portrait is rendered in the characteristic high-relief Trajanic style, conveying authority and martial dignity. The circular legend runs along the entire periphery of the coin in incuse Latin capitals. The flan exhibits a deep olive-brown patina consistent with hammered orichalcum sestertii of the early second century AD. |

| Reverse description | Emperor Trajan standing right, clasping hands with a soldier standing left; between them and slightly to the center stands an altar. Three standard-bearers appear in the background to the right, each holding a military standard (signum). The composition conveys the theme of imperial loyalty and the bond between the emperor and his troops, rendered in the characteristic multi-figure narrative style of Trajanic coinage. The legend FIDES EXERCIT appears in the field, with the senatorial authorization mark S C prominently placed. |
