| Obverse description | Radiate, laureate, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Trajan Decius facing right, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder, rendered in the bold provincial style characteristic of the Viminacium mint. The emperor's portrait displays strong facial features with a short beard, consistent with known iconography of Decius. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP C M Q TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG, distributed around the full circumference of the flan. The die work reflects competent provincial craftsmanship, with the bust occupying the majority of the coin's field. |
