Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Titus facing right, depicted with a robust, naturalistic portrait in the Flavian tradition. The emperor's bust is draped, with the laurel wreath rendered in fine detail. The encircling legend reads IMP TITVS CAES VESP AVG P M TR P P P COS VII, distributed around the full circumference of the flan. The die engraving exhibits the characteristic high-relief portraiture of early Flavian Imperial coinage, with strong facial features and a slightly forward-projecting chin. The field shows natural patination consistent with a bronze sestertius of the period.
