Reverse description The personification of Pax stands in full figure facing left, draped in a flowing stola and palla, rendered in confident relief against a smooth field enclosed by a beaded border. She extends her right hand forward holding an olive branch, symbol of peace, while her left arm cradles a large cornucopiae, emblematic of abundance. The senatorial mark of authority, S C (Senatus Consultum), is placed in the lower field flanking the figure on either side. The encircling legend PAX AVGVSTI runs around the periphery, proclaiming the peace bestowed by the emperor.
