Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Titus facing right, draped and cuirassed, with finely rendered curly hair and ribbon ties visible at the nape. The effigy is boldly modelled in high relief, characteristic of Flavian portraiture. The encircling legend reads IMP TITVS CAES VESP AVG P M TR P P P COS VII, distributed around the full periphery of the flan. The portrait conveys imperial authority with a strong, naturalistic profile typical of the Rome Mint's output under Titus.
