Obverse description Bare-headed, laureate bust of Emperor Titus facing left, depicted with short hair and a laurel wreath in the Flavian dynastic style. The portrait is rendered with characteristic realism, showing the emperor's strong facial features in high relief against a flat field. The encircling Latin legend runs from left to right around the periphery of the coin. The overall execution reflects the accomplished die-cutting of the Rome mint workshops under the Flavian emperors.
